LAPIS NORMA DAN PENGALAMAN JIWA PUISI-PUISI MAMAN S. MAHAYANA DALAM ANTOLOGI JEJAK SEOUL

Abstract

Among so many poetry anthologies published in 2016, there is an anthology “Jejak Seoul” by Maman S. Mahayana. anthology is used as the source of research data. title of the study that the authors picked up is The Norm Layers and Soul Experiences of Maman S. Mahayana's Poetry in Jejak Seoul Anthology as a Poetry Appreciation Teaching Material in High School.” There are ten poetry titles from three different themes used as research data. They are J ejak yang Berserak, Langkah Musim, and Perjalanan Panjang. research conducted by using norm layer approach and soul experience. Norm layer approach refers to Roman Ingarden analysis theory in Das Literarische Kunstwerk (1931) that quoted in Pradopo (1988: 66). Soul experience approach in poetry refers to J. Elema’s theory in Poetica that quoted in Pradopo (1988: 69-71). Norm layer is able to indicate that the certain poetry has artistic value, lack of artistic value, or does not have artistic value. Soul experience analysis is able to describe the depth of soul experience in certain poetry. This research uses descriptive method and literature study. Descriptive method used for describing the object studied with a comprehensive and detailed language. Literature study used to examine the object with theory to facilitate the faster research. result that Maman S. Mahayana’s poetries in Jejak Soul anthology are poetries that have high artistic value with a thick soul experience. Hence, the poetries within the anthology are worthy to be poetry appreciation teaching material in high school. author expects the teachers use it.
